  • Amazed Yet Again

I just can't say enough nice things about Project Destati. The songs I hear from these albums are just so well done and it makes me happy that music from the Kingdom Hearts series got this kind of treatment. The album "LIGHT" had a great selection of KH songs that totally fit the name of the album, while this one has more of the darker-themed songs. Overall, I am very satisfied with the selection of songs in this album and I applaud the work done to make this album as great as it is. I already can't wait for a new album to be done if it's going to happen. This album is a great reason why Kingdom Hearts music is more than just music.

So fabulous. I just love hearing all my favorite songs being presented in such a lovely orchestra setting. These songs made me feel, and it’s all just so amazing. The depth they bring to already amazing but excusably slightly flat video game soundtracks is breathtaking and astounding. I am so glad that this has finally come as well. This album is everything wonderful. Also, did anyone notice the whole Organization XIV title? I’m so glad someone remembers. #XionLives
  • About time

    By JohntheMost
After months of delays, we finally have Project Destati's second major project. It's a solid work and definitely deserves merit - the production quality is fantastic, they stay relatively true to the original tunes with their own special touch, there's a lot of good to say about the album. Some pieces were overdone, (Xion did not need to be a eleven-minute track), and you could say some were superfluous in nature (Passion sounded messy at some points) when simplicity would have been more meaningful. They set the bar high with their first project (which was phenomenal) but didn't quite reach it with this one. Regardless, this is still a great collection of remarkable Kingdom Hearts favorites, and I highly recommend it.
  • Beautifully Reimagined!

    By SicklyB
I love the work of Yoko Shimomura in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, and Project Destati's reimaginings of these melodies and motifs always astounds me! I was equally excited for pieces with songs I found myself familiar with and ones I hadn't listened to in years. Everything about the music inspired me with it's creativity in composition! I heavily admire this team's dedication and collaboration and think everyone should listen to these! If I had any complaint, it would likely be that I found Aqua's theme to be a bit bland in comparison to Terra and Ventus's. It was certainly beautiful, but didn't have nearly as much punch as I had expected; perhaps I would have liked more incorporation of battle themes associated with her, such as "Hunter of the Dark" or "Wave of Darkness" since Terra had "Fate of the Unknown" and Ventus had more of a fanfare (and a solo) towards the end. However, I understand that to say such a thing is really nitpicky (considering I don't compose music) and I have a huge bias as Aqua is my favorite character, so it doesn't affect the album's scoring, nor my recommendation to buy the album!
  • Been a Fan for years!!

When I first listened to Project Destati, it was their rendition of “Treasured Memories”, that was it! Since then I have been waiting for the release of their Darkness album. It does delivers. A lot of work went into creating such beautiful and soulful melodies. Their take on popular songs such as “Dark Impetus” and “13th Struggle” will leave you SHOOK! The masterful harmony of the instruments in key moments of the songs are touching and surprising. For fans of the series, “Xion” is THE song. From beginning to end, this song can tell the story of the popular, Yet tragically fated character Xion. Take a listen, I’m sure with the 2nd song, you’ll be hooked!!
  • Best of Project Destati so far!

    By A huge KH Fan
I’ve been waiting for this album ever since 2015 and here we are! I’ve been amazed by the variety of choices from different titles of KH series and this time I am pretty sure that this album has at least one soundtrack from EVERY title! I am totally shocked but already living in a peaceful harmony with those beautifully made soundtracks! Not only that those soundtracks were made accurately similar to Yoko’s style but the additional touches from Project Destati itself were soothing and were beautifully made to fit the flow of these soundtracks! :D Thank you so much Project Destati for making such beautiful soundtracks for the fans of the series and now I can have a bigger playlist of your soundtracks to keep repeating everyday :). I simply can’t wait for having soundtracks from both Birth by Sleep 0.2 -A Fragmentary Passage- and the long-waited title, KHIII! And who knows, maybe the futuristic album is going to called “Project Destati: Dawn” or “Project Destati: Inbetween” (those were definitely my suggestion for the next album! XD) but please don’t make us wait for long cuz we are always in hunger for more of your peaceful, beautiful, soothing orchestrated soundtracks! I’ll always be thankful for making our life much better with those albums :)
  • Beautiful!

(If you haven’t listened to Xion yet, get ready to cry!) This is a testimony to the love and dedication this group fosters for Kingdom Hearts. If you’re a fan of Yoko Shimomura, the game, or both; you’re going to love this heartwarming project. Thanks again Destati!

After hearing the first preview of Darkness over 2 years ago I knew that Project Destati was going to make another masterpiece again just like with Light. Now after a two year wait that was definitely worth it and listening to the livestream with the team behind this musical triumph I can easily say that this is easily one of the best orchestra groups in the world! I could never give a higher recommendation to anything else. Thanks for bringing the memories back Destati! #XionLives
  • A Heart Breaking Experience

As Project Destati: Darkness is about to release in a few days, I would like to give my initials thoughts on the album so far. PD made a huge impact in my life 3 years ago with the release of their first album, Light, and I’m excited to say that Darkness seems it will blow their first album out of the water (which isn’t an easy thing to do by any means). The songs they have released so far as pre-order bonuses have left me truly awe-struck, and I am ready for the emotional journey that the rest of the album will inevitably take me on.
